Swirled into the sea
the waves abandon everything.
Tell me seabird what it means
and watch over my callow years.

There, with those sunken eyes
staring, back in mine.
He speaks, to me in song
with so much passion, a voice so strong.
but when his, song is done
what will i see, who will he become?

Good times, were like a lovely shade of yellow
that darkened so fast what they were I could hardly tell.
I find it strange, that I'm so surprised
he only recalls the yellow times.
But I remember, the black and the red
the anger I saw in his eyes and the things he said.

"Turn off your mind.
Who do you think you are now?

Who taught you to think for yourself?

There, between the hollow groans
and all that darkness that fills his bones.
